Denise, Only the surnames in the message (including Subject), not a "shopping list" is correct. I need some clarification about the surname field in the messages. This field is to contain surnames relevant to the message itself, correct, rather than every surname a person might be researching? Thanks, Denise

Joan, Mine were all the same account - the ONLY account I've ever used since becoming an admin and requesting Notifications. I was thinking it might have something to do with different servers? Or maximum number of boards to be notified on one email (overall, not my number of boards). I adopted quite a few boards at once one time and that is when the notices started coming in separate emails. When I got rid of the majority of them at once, I then only received Notifications on one email (well, except for the exact duplicates, butthat is a different subject :). I received my "duplicate" notifications, as usual. I have been getting duplicates for many months now but I am afraid to report they are identical for fear they will stop entirely!! So I just delete the second one. When I had lots more boards, I used to get two notifications, each different but always covering the same group of boards. When I got rid of about 100 or more boards, I started receiving two Notifications, only they are the same. I can live with that rather than "upset the apple cart"~ Guess you are the lucky one today, Joan :-) Marilyn G. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Wilson Goddard" <jaws64@comlinkusa.net> Subject: Re: [BAd] Strange abbreviated notification? > At 08:46 AM 9/21/2006, you wrote: > >>This morning I received my daily board notification and strangely >>enough it only showed ONE board and one new post on that board, and >>I know for a fact that my 87 boards had more than one new post--did >>anyone else receive an abbreviated notification today or am I the >>only lucky one? >> >>Joan >> > > > I normally get 2 board notifications---only time I get one is when > there has only been one post. This morning I received my daily board notification and strangely enough it only showed ONE board and one new post on that board, and I know for a fact that my 87 boards had more than one new post--did anyone else receive an abbreviated notification today or am I the only lucky one? Joan
