When I was told about the envelope, I had to get a magnifying glass to be able to tell it was there. I didn't know it was supposed to be yellow. Diane Hettrick dhettrick@earthlink.net
I just checked, and all the offending messages have been deleted from the board, so additional discussion seems fruitless. Wilson

You also keep posting completely OFF TOPIC for this board. I think spreading virus/worm rumors on the boards and lists is AGAINST the AUP. I suggest you stop it.

This is a message board devoted to helping BOARD admins (not list admins or users) in managing their message boards. If you were unsubbed from a mailing list at RootsWeb there would have been a reason for it--and that reason in no way would involve "hackers" -- you most likely bounced off the list or were unsubbed from the list by the list admin. In any case, the only way to find out why you were unsubbed from a list when you didn't do so yourself would be to contact the list admin at the address LISTNAME-admin@rootsweb.com replacing the generic word LISTNAME with the actual name of the list. Joan Asche Joan- I think for an official answer to that question (if anyone knows the answer or is permitted to give it out if they do know) you would need to ask the HelpDesk. All we were told officially is that the "improved boards" are on "hold" and postponed/canceled indefinitely. I think we need (for now) to work with the existing boards and not expect or anticipate any changes until or unless we are told changes are forthcoming. Joan

Well the problem with ancestry's home page must be a firefox issue. When clicking on 'go to ancesty.com homepage' link on the ad nothing happens in firefox but it does work with IE But when using the banner ad from rootsweb pages using IE I get a this page can not be displayed. Weird -- oh well what it is -- it will most likely pass. Thanks to all, J. Asche On 10/28/06, Joan Asche <jasche45133@gmail.com> wrote: > I am unable to reach the boards or ancesty.com's home page?
