    3. Thanks, Peggy. I was looking for it because I have a couple of bios to post. That's when I couldn't get it on Find a Board or browse, and was told there isn't a problem. :-) Nan On Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 8:52 AM, Kinhunter <kinhunter@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, Nan, > > The Snyder Message Board can be found here: > http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.snyder/mb.ashx , but it isn't > working properly. 3. Hi, Nan, The Snyder Message Board can be found here: http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.snyder/mb.ashx , but it isn't working properly. I reported the problem in March, and have requested an update as to when things will be working again. 2. What is also interesting is that every post but the first one on the SNYDER-HOLTON board is misplaced and should be on the SNYDER board. Might be a good idea for the SNYDER board admin to adopt that board and move the misplaced posts where they belong. <hint, hint> Joan In a message dated 4/20/2009 6:45:02 A.M. Doing a search on "snyder" I get these results: Localities > North America > United States > States > Pennsylvania > Counties > Snyder Surnames > Snyder-Holton Surnames > Snyderman But not SNYDER alone.

    3. It doesn't come up in the search but it IS still there. What I did to get there was go to http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.sny/mb.ashx Where it said "sny" in the line above, I typed in the "der" and it came up. http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.snyder/mb.ashx Hope this helps! 3. Maybe because when people search for Snyder, it doesn't show up, but Snyder-Holton does? so they figure this is all there is? Thanks, everybody. I'm going to report back that I am not confused, the boards are. I was afraid it might be time to hang up my keyboard. ;-) Nan On Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 7:28 AM, <JYoung6180@aol.com> wrote: > What is also interesting is that every post but the first one on the > SNYDER-HOLTON board is misplaced and should be on the SNYDER board. 3. Next time you're on the boards, would you go to Find a Board and put in Snyder, and see if the Snyder surname board comes up for you in the search? It doesn't for me, and I've tried both the rootsweb and ancestry sides. But Staff is telling me that there's no problem, it *does* come up on Find a Board.
