Well, there has to be either a deadline or else a minimum number of submissions, so we'll know when to start the election and/or the selection process. How about Friday, Oct 15? With a reminder sent on Wed Oct 13 if we don't have at least 2 submissions by then. Does sending the announcement require a formal motion to authorize it? By the way, is Ed Book taking minutes yet, and if so, what is happening with them?
