    3. Sherri! I just noticed YOU ALTERED the motion without consent. Please restate the original motion which is this: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/BOARD/2010-06/1276639201 and seconded by Colleen Pustola http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/BOARD/2010-06/1276748047 The exact wording: I move we suspend all disciplinary hearings effective immediately until after the current elections soon to be underway are over. This is too close to the elections enough for many to denounce the hearings as nothing more than political sham to get rid of election opponents at earliest possible time. The attempt at these hearings are now threatening to cause a good number of the CCs to leave the Project. W. 3. David- In any organization in which I have participated as a member, the chair almost always summarizes or restates a motion, deleting the editoral content which the maker may have included to explain his/her reasons for making the motion. Then the membership of the organization votes on the intent of the motion, as summarized or restated by the chair. In the instant case, I believe the first paragraph of your stated motion clearly establishes what should happen if the membership votes in favor of the motion. The other material is explanatory, and is not necessary for voting on the motion. Do you agree with the above statement?
