David, I do not need your assistance in counting to 14; or I still have all of my fingers and toes, so I can count to 20 without having to borrow someone else's. <g> I am perfectly able to determine when a motion passes or fails, per either Sturgis or our Project's bylaws without your assistance. Just because you determine that a motion has failed and decide to make another one (motion), that motion is still out of order until the former motion is formally declared either passed or failed. A second to the motion that is out of order is also out of order because the floor is not open. The motion to call the question has now been declared, so if you wish to move to table motion 2009/10-23, that motion will need to be made again. David, I didn't realize there were cardinal rules. I know of the rule that one doesn't comment while they are personally voting on a motion and no member vote can be called into question by another member as they cast their vote, *but* I didn't realize that my commenting on an (although unrecognized result) on my own volition would be out of order. I apologize to you, the membership and to the Advisory Board members for my cardinal error. It was actually an effort to encourage you and others to bring some sort of closure to this issue. I very sincerely hope that can be done. I made the call on this question to finally vote on this motion. "Two days of discussion is not enough time to discuss" being the reason by some of you voting 'disagree' to the call. This motion in one rendition or another has been presented and discussed since January 25, 2010, with each time being disrupted as it has been again this time with no solutions, just rhetoric. As we discuss this time, (as it appears the call will fail), those of you that are calling for changes, suggest wording for those changes, state your reasons why you feel they are necessary and please don't call the intentions and good work of you fellow Project members into question as we work to finalize this motion.
