Hello, I am new to this list, and I am researching my ancestor Elizabeth Blosser who married Alexander Hufford, which that information I do have, it her parents Christopher or Christian Blosher or Blosser and wife E.? which is probably Elizabeth....Elizabeth Blosser my ancestor was born in Switzerland, and I have been trying to find some info on the parents.....only to come across other Blosser's and Hufford's that intermingled. Hi, I have a book entitled, "The Hufford Family History 1729-1909" by Franklin Pierce Hufford. It was copyrighted 1909. A distant cousin (descendent of Hufford/Keller) gave it to me. Does anyone know where Franklin Pierce Hoffert/Hufford's original research ended up? Are they in the possession of a family member or an institution perhaps? I did briefly leaf through the book, and I too, found no such people. I have no answers --however, I believe that the Flint Michigan Library has some further information on the Hufford Family, from some research done by Florence Grove. I know that she had done some further research --and she did leave a copy of her findings there. Hope this helps. Jamie, I believe the father of "your" Elizabeth would be Benedict Blosser, who came from "Longnow" (Langnau), Canton Berne, Switzerland, landing in Baltimore in about 1832 and settling in Wayne County, Ohio, between Mt. Eaton and Wooster.
