He was born in August 30, 1794 and died on May 22, 1882. I have tried in vain to find information about his parents or siblings. If you know or learn anything about his family, I would be grateful to learn of it. Thanks! Tim Blosser Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. While some man named Benjamin Blosser applied for a father's pension under Jonas Blosser's service, it could not have been the same man referred to in another post. The 1860 census shows a 66-year-old Benjamin Blauser living in the almshouse in Swatara Township, Dauphin County. In 1870, it appears that same man was living with a Blosser family in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, which is close to Dauphin County. I cannot, however, connect him to Jonas. Someone will have to read the pension file and report on what they find. My list of pension files, past and future, numbers in the many thousands, so I may get to it sometime. Larry, I don't think Benedict can be the father of my E. or Elizabeth Blosher or Blosser.......my ancestor which I have information was born abt. 1801 in Switzerland and she married Alexander Hufford, when I don't know, their child Elizabeth Blosser born(July 18, 1822-September 20, 1872) (my ancestor) in Switzerland married John Valentine Sanders in Coshocton county, Ohio. I believe Alexander Hufford and his wife Elizabeth Blosser (1801-April 17, 1869) came with the Blosser families or possibly a Hufford family, not sure.......its her parents I am trying to find information on.....which stated her father was Christ and E. Blosher......check out my webpage, I have references on there.......there is so many Elizabeth's here its not funny. If you can find Alexander Hufford or Huffer before 1840 in Ohio, that I would appreciate it....because I have the census since 1840 when they were in Adams Township, coshocton county, Ohio. Let me know what you think. jamie www.senorasimcox.tribalpages.com -----Original Message----- From: Larry Blosser <lablosser@verizon.net> To: blosser@rootsweb.com Sent: Wed, Jan 13, 2010 11:18 am Subject: Re: [BLOSSER] Blosher, Blosser.......I am new to the list Jamie, I believe the father of "your" Elizabeth would be Benedict Blosser, who came from "Longnow" (Langnau), Canton Berne, Switzerland, landing in Baltimore in about 1832 and settling in Wayne County, Ohio, between Mt. Eleanor, No I am part indian, but do not belong to a tribe. Tribalpages is the name of the company who owns the site. I update my genealogy info as often as I can on there......its pretty simple to get around on it, and I have uploaded 1000 pictures and have tons more to put on there, but don't have the time right now to do that, maybe later this year. jamie www.senorasimcox.tribalpages.com -----Original Message----- From: ELEANOR DEYOUNG <dosidodosido@msn.com> To: blosser@rootsweb.com Sent: Tue, Jan 5, 2010 10:58 pm Subject: Re: [BLOSSER] Blosher, Blosser.......I am new to the list In looking at the: tribalpages.com on the bottom of your email.
