I would like to know about that publication of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, VA. I am from the Keller line, with some Blossers therein, as well --but none back to the 1700s --However I think that Rockingham County info might lead me to furthering my 'tree'. I've also confirmed separately that Jonas Blosser was son of Benjamin Blosser born 30 August 1794, who died 22 May 1882, and is buried in Cumberland County. Jonas' brother was Samuel, who had an extensive family, many of the heirs of which still live in the area. I have heard that Benjamin's wife (Jonas' mother)'s name was Catherine Crist, but I have not been able to confirm that. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The Benjamin mentioned born 1830, is their son. His full name is John Benjamin. You can find him on the 1870, 1880, 1900 census records living in Middle Paxton, Dauphin, PA near Fishing Creek. It appears that he remained single. On the 1870 census, he is living with his mother and two sisters, Elizabeth (Eliza) and Maggie (Margaret). On the 1880 and 1900 census he is with his sisters. Find A Grave has him buried in Stroh's Family Cemetery in Fishing Creek, having died in 1914. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
