Here it is if anyone is interested. THE QUINCY DAILY WHIG: 2 Nov 1907; A CENTENARIAN DIED IN QUINCY: Michael Blessington, aged 101, passed away last night ~CAME FROM TOLUSA. His end came at St. Vincent's home for the aged. As the clock pointed to 7:15pm last evening, the life of Michael Blessington, centenarian, came to a close. Since March 30, 1895, he had been an inmate of St. Vincent's Home on North Tenth St., coming here from Tolusa, IL. He was 101 years of age. Little of the aged descendants life is known to the authorities of the institution except the name of his granddaughter, Miss. Glenn; who has been kept informed of his condition during the past week. She is expected in the city from Tolusa in the morning and the remains will probably be taken back to his old home for burial. Senility has been given as the cause of death. For some time past, Mr. Blessington had been growing noticeably feebler and his relatives had been warned of his approaching end. He had no immediate family, so far as known, but it is said he left surviving him a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Great-Great grandchildren. Note: Was unable to find any mention of a Tolusa, IL. There is a Toluca in Marshall Co., Illinois but I don't believe Michael ever lived there. His grandkids (Glynn's) were in Dallas, Hancock Co., IL. Michael is buried in Hancock Co., next to his wife, Margaret. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
