I think his father's name was Michael. Bernard emigrated 1844 to Lowell, MA and married "Ann" in 1848-9 (I am not certain of her maiden name, but could probably round up her Date of Death if you need it). They had several children, but unfortunately, Bernard was killed in 1862 at the 2nd battle of Bull Run during the Civil War. He is possibly buried in Lowell, MA. He is not a direct relation of mine; probably a cousin. I just stumbled on his info while researching my Blessington's (also from Leitrim).
