Sue, Mary's not alone in saving info until we can make a connection. The Blankenship's are my husband's line and I have nothing past his great grandfather. I do try to read all the posts with the hope of finding some link to William Lafayette Blankenship or Jenny White. So, let me take the time now to thank all of you who post info on this list. I have learned a lot about Blankenship and other family history. I have visited links posted that have given me info on other lines I am researching. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to post. I too have wondered about this list. Seem's like most are looking for the same people. And since I'm looking for my grandfather and uncle and aunts I don't know if I need that "older " info or not.
