As with everything, it's your choice as to what you accept. If I post something that's not to your likeing, it's your choice. Like everyone, I post what I believe to be valid, if it's incorrect, I always say thanks for the corrections that I receive. Just because the info comes from a published source doesn't make it correct nor info from your great Aunt aged 100, incorrect. I have learned to beware of professionally researched genealogy from years back, too many were concocted to give the person with the check book a warm fuzzy feeling and deplete their bank account. Where we often cannot determine an ancestor, other people's reseach will give us a name or other info that we can accept or attempt to disprove. It's a break, that's all. If you can prove it either way, then you're a step ahead. For those who haven't seen it before, here's something that you might review when decisions are needed. It's not mine, I just had it sent to me - shared. You'll note that a church baptismal is rated as a primary. I personally know and have seen a baptismal record where the preacher switched the children between parents when writing up his church record. Your great aunt knew better than that, mine did, and so do I <VBG>. No, not my g'father Bullard, but mine nonetheless <G>.
