According to description I have of my ggreatgrandfather, William Blankenship; he was 5 feet tall, blue eyes, fair complected with red hair. The only pictures I have of my greatgrandmother (his daughter) is that her hair appears dark. There is red hair prevalent in our family...but most of my greatgrandmother's children were tall..nearly 5'10-6' even the girls. I can blame my shortness on William as I have to stretch to make that 5'2" mark. William was born in Greenup Co. KY Dec. 11, 1840 to (we think) Richard and Susanah Miller. He married Elizabeth KEATON (again the last name is spelled both KEATON & KEETON)about 1858. They lived in Ohio and AR. Both William and Elizabeth are buried in Conway Co., AR.
