    2. See my post on the Indiana Blankenships. I have much more. What is your source for death date of Lewis Blankenship, Sr.??? Agree his wife was named Mary from deed to James Blankenship. Do you have verification that he was the father of Lewis Blankenship who married Hannah Thomas? It is a good hypothesis but I have not seen a record. Would like to share information and research with you. Best.     3. Sorry Larry, the Lewis you are refering to, I do not know. I do know that Spencer Blankenship had a son named Lewis, and they all moved to Indiana. Mine, and the other 2, we are trying to sort out is all Franklin County, VA. And that is where my Lewis J. died in 1906. He is buried at Boones Mill, Rocky Mount, VA. on the Blackwater River.
