His parents were James H Blankenship b 1819 Ky and Amanda Smothers or Armilda Smothers, his 3d wife, b 1851 Ky. James H Blankenship's other children by Amanda were Mahala b 1872, Lucinda b 1873, Christianab 1877, Marion Washington b 1876, Rowland Pryor and Anna . By the 2nd marriage, James H Blankenship and Elizabeth Kinglesmith had; Rosella Dora b 1865, Andrew Jackson b 1867, Willie, Johnny L b 1869 Do any of these sound familiar to you? James is the brother of my gr grandfather, Edwin Blankenship b abt 1826, lived most of life in Hardin Co, Ky. I think their father was Wm Blankenshp b abt 1765 (not cure of illegible date in census), as they lived all near each other in Hardin Co, Ky at one time. I have now found 2 Rowland Pryor BLANKENSHIPS here on this list, the one described by Janet Jensen as living 1879-1948. and one described by Nolene last year, who lived from ca. 1786 to est. 1850. So -- can anyone shed some light on the relationship - or lack thereof - on there 2 Rowland Pryors BLANKENSHIPS?
