I had a great uncle named Felix Luther Blankenship who went by the name Luther. He was born in May 1883 and his wife was Verggie Foster. Their children were: Sadie (married William Deming), Jesse, Troy (had a club foot, died when he was ten) and Trudie. This family was from Guys, McNairy Co, TN. However, I do not have a Belle Cruse in my index. Hi, thanks for note. Do you have the parents of your Luther Blankenship? I know there are a lot of them in Tennessee, and I thought Luther was in Corbin, Ky. But since we did not have close touch and 50 yrs have passed I don't know what happened. Grandma Belle Blankenship Cruse died in 1936, so this nephew, Luther had to have visited her before that.
