    1. [BLANKENSHIP] Re: BLANKENSHIP-D Digest V00 #253
    2. Hi Kathy & other Blankenship kin. I'm sorry for the belated reply. I have no record of these Blankenships. "Mine" drop from the sky into Dallas Co., MO, where they remain on and off through the Civil War and into the late 1800s. Then they can be found over in Jasper Co. for a couple of generations before moving to California in the 1940s. I'll keep an eye out for yours, Kathy. I know I've seen other Blankenships in all of my Missouri counties, most of whom I have no known link to. - Mark Krudwig In a message dated 8/13/0 9:01:43 AM, BLANKENSHIP-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: >Hi Mark Krudwig, > >Do you have a BLANKENSHIP male who was b abt 1845 MO & marr MARY JANE >CATHERINE "KATIE" WILLIAMS b 1849 Iron Co [was Madison/ Wayne Co] MO. > They >moved to Cherokee Co, KS with her parents [& maybe his, as there were some >BLANKENSHIPs on the census] & he died I think before their son, GEORGE >W. >BLANKENSHIP was b 1874. >I'm stuck. >KATIE then m JAMES WILLIAM DRY & div aft 8 ch.
