Hi researchers, This much I knew: 1. Hudson Blankenship, that married Edith Wilkinson 1755, son of John B. Blankenship and Elizabeth Hudson. 2. Isham BlankenshipSr., that married Sarah Wilkinson 1756, son of John B. Blankenship and Elizabeth Hudson. This is what I just found out: Edith Wilkinson and Sarah Wilkinson were sisters and they married Blankenship brothers, Hudson and Isham. This would make all the children from both family be double first cousins. Edith and Sarah Wilkinson's, parents were, Jane Sarah Royall and John Wilkinson. Jane Sarah Royall's parents were, Katherine Banks Royall Isham and Joseph Royal Sr. (Katherine married Henry Isham, Sr. after John Royall died). John Wilkinson's parents were Frances Elam and John Wilkinson. OK if all of the above is true and has been proven then Hudson Blankenship could have called Katherine Banks Royall Isham "Granny" Katherine would have been great-grandmother to all of the children from the marrage of Hudson and Edith. The same is true with Isham Sr, He could have called Katherine Banks Royall Isham "Granny" and Katherine would have been great-grandmother to all of the children from the marriage of Isham Sr. and Sarah. I feel like there is a conection between John B. Blankenship and Elizabeth Hudson and the Isham family, because they names one son Henry and one son Isham. It may have been the close family ties that let Katherine met Henry Isham after John Royall died. Look this over and tell me if I am even close with all of this information. PLEASE I would love to hear what you all are thinking about this one. Sue
