Neal to John W. Blankenship for twelve hundred dollars, ninety nine acres of land lying on the headwaters of Sandy Creek in thre county of Pittsylvania known as the Slayton Tract and adjoining the lands of William A. Wilson, E. T. Lewis and others , Neal reserving to himself the right of way from Lewis corner to Bryant's line Signed by Robert B. Neal. Recorded March 20, 1879. Book 59, p 516 July 7, 1859 Samuel S. Amos and Susan Amos, his wife, to George W. Blankenship and William J. Blankenship for five hundred and seventeen dollars a certain tract of land lying within Pittsylvania County on the waters of Cool Branch adjoining the land of William Burdett and others and containing ninety four acres, Signed by Samuel S. Amos and Susan Amos (her mark) Recorded December 17, 1860. Book 59, p 517 December 18, 1860 George Barrett and Polly, his wife to Wm. H. Waller in consideration for one hundred and thirty dollars, thirty and three fourth acres of land lying in Pittsylvania County on the waters of Strait Stone Creek being a part of the land allotted John C. Keatts in the division of Richard Keatts Estate and bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at pointers in the Keatts line thence with his line S 71 W 63 poles ro pointers in Mrs. Bealey's line and with her line S 24 degrees E 74 poles to pointers in Mrs. Anderson's line and with her line N 86 E 63 poles to a red oak in George Barrett's line , thence a new line N 24 degrees, W 92 60/100 poles to the beginning. Blankenship for one thousand thirty one dollars a certain tract of land lying in the county of Pittsylvania on the headwaters of Sandy Creek known as the Chaney and Birch Tract adjoining the lands of Robber___, James, Thomas and others and bounded as follows: Begining at red oak on Burches corner, thence S to old Milan Branch with said branch to sweet gum on Thomas Yaman line, E with said line to hickory on corner of Neal line, N straight line with Neal to sasfras , thence W straight to poplar in branch , thence to Red Oak on Bryant line . ___ to MillStone Road, thence with said road to Mrs. Yeamon, thence with said Yaman line S to the beginning___ containing one hundred and forty acres. Witnesseth that the said Jonathan Welden and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of six hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said John Blankinship at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the rceipt whereof the said Jonathan Weldon and Nancy his wife doth hereby acknowledge, hath given, granted, bargained and sold and by those present doth give grant bargain and sell deliver and confirm unto the said John Blankinship his heirs and assigns forever, one certain track or parcel of land situate lying and being on the waters of Benches Creek in Pittsylvania County containing one hundred and ninety acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning at an ash on a branch thence S 86' E. 95 poles crossing a branch to pointers in Henry's line, thence N 11' __ 190 poles crossing the mountain road to a red _ Post Oak thence SW __102 poles crossing the two roads to Pointers on old road, thence along the same __poles to the Mountain road thence along the same 62 poles to a white oak, then S 73' W 33 poles crossing the road to a chestnut oak, thence S.58' E 43 poles to Pointers, S 14' W 104 poles to a white oak, thence S 41' E 90 poles to pointers, thence S 82' E 12 poles to Pointers, S 62' E 25 poles to a pine on a branch thence up the branch as it meanders to the beginning together with all and singular priviledges and appentinances. Luck and Susan M. his wife to John Blankinship all of Pittsylvania County, Virginia for the sum of five hundred and fifty dollars a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Pittsylvania County on both sides of the main road leading from Halifax County and containing 323 acres adjoining the land of Meredith Jennings and ___Tanner being the land conveyed to Jans G. Bay will by Wm ______ by deed bearing the date of 10th of July 1831.
