Hi Gang, I just got a photo on e-bay and I was wondering if anyone can identify him. The photo is of Joseph William Blankenship and dated Jan. 20, 1900. It was taken by Morgan and Tippet Photographers in Bozeman, Montana. Does this guy belong to anyone? If anyone would like a scan of the photo I'd be glad to send it. Cousin Mike
Please do honey, I've got a John William born 1896, would love to see it. Did Sue show you my grandparents? Tammy ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael E. Hi I think there is an area of Mont. that was explored or at lest places were named for a Blankenship that came there after the civil war. Bob Michael E. He was my Great Uncle, a professor of botany at Montana A & M, (now Montana State) who eventually died in Union City, CA, at the Masonic Home in 1936. If you need more information on him, please let me know. I would like a copy of the photo. Bill Bonner "Michael E.
