The Lewis Blankenship that you saw listed in land records in that county was my gggrandfather, Lewis Blankenship (1808-1880). Tell me about your Lewis Blankenship, will you? So, which ancestors of yours migrated to Missouri and where there? It was the Wren children and/or James Wren both? I can put you in touch with a few Wren researchers that research the same line as you......but have you considered subscribing to the Izard Co. List? Trust me, you would not regret it......I have learned so much on that List and have been an active member for several years now. It is a heavy traffic List, though and wanted you to know that!
