    3. Hi Pat it's me again My fathers side did fight on the Hatfield side of the fued but he was to young to be involved in it. He developed T.B. while working in a mine and had to leave to get to a better climate. He was a coal dealer (in Montgomery, Illinois!) If there was a Peach Creek Mine in WV owned by a Blankenship -- maybe that would help Hope. It would be worth investigating. I have seen a Gedcom file (maybe I copied it -- I'll check) that has some West Virginia Blankenship lines that tie into the Hatfield-McCoy clans.
