    1. Re: [BLANKENSHIP] RE: BLANKENSHIP-D Digest V00 #386
    2. My Blankenships, so far, are in TX, I have my grandmother's death certificate and my Dad's delayed birth certificate and his death certificate. This is what I have learned from it. Grandmother's name was Jarusha Anise Blankenship. She is listed as white. She was known as Jerusie and in one paper clipping as Emma. She was born 11-24-1875, somewhere in AR. Her dad is listed as Eliza (maybe it should be Elijah). He was born in TN. He married a ???Snow. Jarusha Blankenship married Adolphus Andrew (or Anders) Loven 11-6-1895 No idea where. Adolphus was born 3-4-1873 in TN. Jarusha and Adophus's first child (my dad) was born in Red River County, Clarksville, TX. Dad was born 9-1-1896 as Adolphard Chester Loven. Later he went by A. Dolphard Chester or ADC Loven. Family and friends knew him as Chester. Second child was Vera Nely (later, Wiley) born 9-8-1898 Don't know where she was born. The 1900 census shows Jershie (Blankenship), Adophus, and 2 children ages 2 and 4. Vera and Chester. They had 8 children in all. No information on where they were born. One child, David Harrson (maybe Harrison) Loven died 8-10-1921, A relative has said he may have died when they were near Hamlin, TX. Adolphus died 12-8-1914. Don't know where. Grandma Jerusie lived many years in Breckenridge, TX. She died there 8-5-1942 and is buried in the Hill Cemetery there. Would love to know were she married and where she was born. Would love to know about her parents. Names, dates and places. Then, of course I'd like to be able to go generations back from there. Hard to get started. Appreciate any help. Willa R. (Loven) Davis Crabtree, OR.
