Elizabeth and Humphrey had a daughter Sara. There were also other members of the Blankenship family living in the area of Red Hill Township, Harrell Township, Buladean, and Bakersville,NC. I wonder if the westward movement had anything to do with the Indian Removal or the opening up of Oklahoma Territory. Several of the Blankenship family were arrested/tried in Indian Territory (records on NAIL). I also wonder about the relationship of the Blankenship individual on the Dawes Choctaw Roll. Dorothy
