My Blankenship ancestor married a Chambers, so after 1809 I have not looked at any Blankenships lines. You see, I wouldn't know which lines to look for because I don't know where she fits in. I just try to fit her into any families that came to Southern Indiana from North Carolina around 1800. By process of elimination I have a pretty good idea that she belongs to one of three families, but which one of those Blankenship men in North Carolina was the patriarch of these families, I cannot tell.
