WVa, with a wife, Mary A, age 31, b. WVa and their daughter, Anna M, age 4 months. They are living next door to the Dillon family, BF Dillon, the Constable. In two other Dillon families, there are nephews...... John Dillon has a nephew, John M. Stephenson, age 14. Rece Dillon has two nephews, Thomas J Bowlin, age20, and George Blankenship, age 30. Who were these people? We they living with their uncles because they'd lost family during the Civil War? Martha Let me see if I can sort these kids out. Marlin Dillon and Lucy Arthur had 15 kids to include Celilia Clay, John L., Eleanor Jane, Borsheba (Lector), and Benjamin Franklin. Celilia Clay Dillon m. Samuel B. Blankenship and had 11 kids to include George Blankenship. Eleanor Jane Dillon m. Henry C. Stephenson and had six kids to include John Stephenson. Borsheba(Lector) Dillon m. S.B. Bolin and had a son Thomas. Benjamin Franklin Dillon m. Catherine McCorkle. Now to complicate the matter some. John M. Stephenson is enumerated with parents also as John L. Stephenson. George Blankenship is also enumerated with his brother Jefferson. Tom Bowlin's father was dead and his mother remarried and had nine more kids. They were all farmers and I suspect they were enumerated where they were working as well as with their family.
