Reference the 1870 Miller Valley Census Records, TS 21, Range 9, Clay County AL I'm not sure, I have no data on him other than the census record I found posted, here is what it has; Blankenship, A.J. male age 46 born GA w Blankenship, S.D. female 43 GA w Blankenship, F.A. female 24 GA w Blankenship, J.M. male 20 GA w Blankenship, Wm. M male 14 GA w Blankenship, H.A. male 7 AL w Hope it will help some cousins, we need the 1880 records to make sense out of it.
