    1. [BLANKENSHIP] my mystery man!
    2. My man, Andrew Johnson Blankenship............... I have just about his entire story now. I have his marriage #1 in 1849, Lawrence Co, Ohio, to a Mary Demspey. I have him in the 1850 census in Lawrence Co, Oh with wife Mary and son Alonzo Charles. I just found him in 1860 in Gallia Co, Ohio, with parents (Andrew and Hannah), son Alonzo, 9, and daughter Flora, 6. In 1863, Gallia Co, Ohio, he married wife #2, Sarah Jane Fosnot (Fausnott?) In 1870, he's in Equality, Gallatin Co, Illinois, with wife Sarah J, sons AC, LD, and FD (from first marriage), and then daughters Hannah, 14, Flora, 3, and Laura 2/12. What happened to Flora #1? She would have been 16. And why is there a Flora #2? Oh well, back to AJ.... 1880 he's still in Equality, with wife Sarah, children Laura, Albert and AJ, and grandson James E. There's no 1890 census. Not sure if he's in Equality still in 1900 or if he'd moved to Eldorado, Saline Co, Illinois by then. And then he died in 1906. I have a copy of his will, and his death certificate. I also have a copy of Sarah Jane's. I can trace Alonzo, birth to death, and LD (Lorenzo Dow) and FD (Floyd Dempsey). Also daughter Laura, birth to death. Albert died in WVa. And as for the rest of the family.................. Ron M says there were also two other sons with wife #1; John B and James Madison. There are "boys" listed by these names in AJ's will. Any one have anything new? thanks Martha
