    1. [BLANKENSHIP] John (B) BLANKENSHIP m. Mary ELizabeth HUDSON
    2. I have often seen this John referred to as John B. BLANKENSHIP with no idea what the initial "B" stood for or whree it came from. In reconstructing my files, I saw in one of my references where a researcher quoted Lloyd Bockstruck as follows: "... In his Will John B. left ... " I am guessing that this where the middle initial "B" has come from over the years, uch the same as someone saying they thought Cecily's last name "might be Liggon" and all of a sudden that's how it was appearing everywhere? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I am thinking that Mr. Bockstruck simply abbreviated the name BLANKENSHIP in his notes and thus the "John B."?
