Hi I have a Spencer that was son of Isham born 1873, Now when Isham went to NC in 1779 (Spencer wopuld have been 6 yrs)Isham moved on to TN in 1806 (Spencer would have been 28) I have seen nothing that says he went with his father to TN. There was a reference in Pike or Floyd Co. KY where a Spencer and several other Blankenships were told to fix thier road) A brother of Spenser, Robert Hezekiah married Rhoda Meador in 1791 in Franklin Co. VA I have seen different reports on this line that Brother of Spenser and son of Isham, Isham jr moved to Ohio. The perpensity of children to name thier children after fathers and uncles, would there is a connection, especially if the Meador family went to NC with the Blankenships.
