    3. I believe many of the dates are incorrect and at best a guess. I have some of Reuben's children as born in Green County GA or Cherokee Nation indicating he was there for a period of time, so there may have been another wife. I've seen Cherokee census records indicating hundreds of Cherokee's married to whites and whites married to Cherokee's. John Buck married Milly there and must have returned to settle the estate of her mother, by Cherokee law, John included Milly's sisters in his will thus the confusion occurred in the 1850 Hatchett Creek Census record note transcription by Wanda Craft. And many still list them as his children. I have this census as a .txt document and still have not identified all the Blankenship's there in.
