Diane: Glad you got my postings. The only place I have seen Reuben connected with Rowland is on his marriage license. The clerk apparently inserted the name Reuben on the license however it is signed Rowland. It is listed in marriage books as Reuben because of this I guess. The only way I found it was through an older woman in McMinnville who is related through John Roland and the Passons. She gave me a lot of information and told me Rowland was married to Jane. When I saw the marriage book with Reuben and Jane I sent for a copy of the license and saw how it was signed. Pays to follow up every little clue.
