Thanks everyone. I will try some of your remedies. AOL did send me a 12 page e-mail on things to do to solve the problem. I'm no computer genius but with all your help I will get back on line. Before I start messing around with my computer I need to save my FTM flies on to floppy disks. Do you have to do it by family surnames or can you save it all at once without having to go to each head of family. Hope this makes sense? Thanks again Dorothy H.

Do it all at once. Much easier that way. Might also make a GeDCOM file as a double back up. make it of the entire file also.
