My wife descends from both Daniel and Reubin thru Mark & Frances. However, we have a third Alabama BLANKENSHIP whom we cannot positively identify. She is Lavinia BLANKENSHIP who married William Anderson GLASSCOCK in 1847 Coosa County. In the 1860 Talladega Census, a Edmund BLANKENSHIP, age 55, is enumerated with Wm. Anderson & Lavinia's family. In attempting to track land records, I find that Henry BLANKENSHIP lives very close to Thomas GLASSCOCK ( Wm. Anderson's father). I vacillate between believing Edmund and Henry are Lavinia's father.
