    1. [BLANKENSHIP] French vs. Stowers
    2. Since we have no prima facie evidence that Nancy was either a FRENCH or a STOWERS we have to rely on family history and hearsay - Roger has the story coming down in his family of her being a FRENCH and Lynda has seen the STOWERS family books with no mention of a Nancy so I think for now we should assume that Nancy was, in fact, a FRENCH ... ??? 3. Hey folks, do as you like. I am not lobbying for anything. If you are comfortable with what you have in your database, then keep it that way until whatever. As for me, I will also keep what I have until proven otherwise. I will probably be at the Wayne Co. Court House next week on a job. I will try to go early so that I can do some digging in the clerk's office. Will talk to some employee cousins there again, Belcher, Blankenship, etc. If I dig up anything different on the Blankenship's I will let the list know. 3. I work full time and also am on several committees for this year's teacher contract so I don't have time to reply during the week. When I get a chance I will send the info I have at home. No one has any proof of who Nancy was. I mentioned it b/c Kay wanted us to ask about brick walls and I thought someone might have more info. I never said it was set in concrete. Next time maybe I'll just keep quiet. Thanks for writing, Sandy in Florida **REPLY TO SandraG627@aol.com** On Thu, 23 Jan 2003 BKAYMEL@aol.com wrote: > Since we have no prima facie evidence that Nancy was either a FRENCH or a > STOWERS we have to rely on family history and hearsay - Roger has the story > coming down in his family of her being a FRENCH and Lynda has seen the > STOWERS family books with no mention of a Nancy so I think for now we should > assume that Nancy was, in fact, a FRENCH ... ??? > > Kay > > > ==== BLANKENSHIP Mailing List ==== > YOUR NAME IN LIGHTS!!!!
