from Pat: I have been working this over and I think the confusion comes becasue W P Blankenship married the two anderson women who were  first cousins, but all the children come from Nancy becasue her mother was an Oliver and that is ow Thomas Oliver Blankenship got his middle name.  The second marraige to Betsy only lasted a few months and she was left a widow which is the clue to an Anderson family mystery as to why one of the ANderson estates was left unsettled from 1847 all the way to 1871.  Sorry I was not clear on this but I only got the Betsy ANderson data very recently and my original Blankenship notes cam from a descendent of Alexander Hugo Blankenship before 1997 before I made a habit of capturing the emails into the notes section of my genealogy program.
