I think we have pretty much decided that Nancy was the d/o Travis Stowers, there is an unidentified girl in the 1820 census. Hi, All This caught my eye because I don't show Travis Stowers Sr and his wife Elizabeth Blankenship d/o Peter Blankenship, Jr and his wife Jennie Perdue as having any daughter named Nancy. My Blankenship family that lived on Miller's Fork in Wayne Co. kept in touch with some of their Stowers cousins who lived out in the Kirkland, IN area. It also turned out that one of my mother's dearest friends who was born in Putnam Co., WV was also a Stowers descendant. The friend has the Stowers books and I've never seen any Nancy as being listed in Travis & Elizabeth's family. Elizabeth and my gggg-grandmother Sarah were sisters. Can anyone else add anything to this thought??
