Hi fellow listers. I, too, have Blankenships in Missouri from 1842 onwards. Mine are in Dallas and Jasper Counties. My direct line is: William BLANKENSHIP (b. 1818-VA?, d. 1853-MO) + Mary A. HAMILTON? (b. 1823-KY?, d. ??) Arch Eli BLANKENSHIP (b. 1850-MO, d. 1907-MO?) + Sarah A. POWELL (b. 1854-MO, d. 1885-MO) James Winfrey BLANKENSHIP (b. 1880-MO, d. 1955-CA) + Alice Emagun MUNSON (b. 1880-MO, d. 1942-?) Dorothy Fern BLANKENSHIP (b. 1906-MO, d. 1982-CA) + Frank Wilbur KRUDWIG (b. 1890-MO, d. 1934-MO) Frank and Dorothy were my paternal grandparents. William is my brickwall, since I can't establish a connection to any of the family "back East." Birthdate and place are both based on Census records and there are WAY too many Williams in the family to link to a specific family based on name alone. Any help would be appreciated and I'd be happy to share what data I have. - Mark Krudwig
