But, I thought it was a good chance to add in some information I just learned over the Christmas Holidays while talking to some of my older relatives. Henry Christopher Kit Blankenship born in February 1878, was the son of John Henry Blankenship and Ursula A. Louisa Saunders. John Henry and Ursula A. L. Saunders Blankenship were my great-grandparents. I was told that Kit moved to Canada, to look for work. Kit stayed up there for years, working and who knows what else may have happened. Kit was working in Canada helping gather hay, he was riding on the hay wagon and fell off and landed on a pitchfork and with in a short time he died. His body was bought back to Franklin County where he is buried at the old Mt Zion Church. I have seen the headstone in the church cemetery. This may not be of any help to you but I wanted to share this information with all of you. Sue B. Altice
