    3. More Blankenship obituaries. Obituary: Kansas City Star, Oct 07, 1993 E. TED BLAANKENSHIP, 89, rural Edgerton in Platte County, died Oct. 6, 1993, in the New Mark Care Center. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery, Moderly, MO. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Hixson-Klein Chapel, Edgerton. Mr. BLankenship was born near Edherton and lived in Illinois and Huntsville and mOberly in Missouri before he return to Edgerton in 1951. He formerly was an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Camden Point Baptis Church. He received a bachelor's degree in elctrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Survivors include a son, John Blankenship, Edgerton, two daughters, Eunice Badley and Marilyn Wingate of Kansas City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Obituary: Kansas City Times, 27 Sep 1988, ESTHER BLANKENSHIP, 77, formerly of Platte County, died Sept. 25, 1988, in a nursing home in Lathrop, MO. where she lived. She was born near Trimble, MO; lived near Ridgley most of her life; and moved to Lathrop in 1983. Mrs. Blankenship was a member of the Pure Breed Angus Assocaition. Survivors include her husband, J. B.Blankenship, Lathrop; two brothers, Irvin Denney, rural Smithville, and Earl Denney, Ferrelview; and a sister, Mary Boydston, rural Smithville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hixson-Klien Chapel, Edgerton in Platte County; burial in the Ridgely Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel.
