    3. Hi Gracie, Don't know if anyone has answered this question yet, but she is a daughter of Pleasant Blankenship. Elevizer Blankenship married Sept. 14, 1835, Botetourt Co. VA (they lived in an area which was later Roanoke Co.), to John B. Holly. She appears as "Louisa" with husband "John Hauley" on the list of Stewart heirs, Franklin Co. Order Book 12, December 1860. If you have any of their descendants I'd love to have the information. Pleasant is one of those "unknowns" from Franklin Co. VA. He was born about 1784 (from Roanoke Co. 1850 census), and first appears in court records: Franklin Co., January Court 1795 - Overseers of the poor bind Pleasant Blankenship, an orphan boy, to Alexander Ferguson, Jr. No male Blankenships disappear from the tax lists around 1795, hence it can be deduced that Pleasant's mother was a Blankenship. He married March 7, 1808, Franklin Co., to Rhoda Stewart, daughter of William Stewart. Pleasant and Rhoda had ten children, including: Nehemiah, Elender, Wiley Pleasant, Marquis D., Elevizer, Tazewell, Giles, Julia Ann, Evilina, Nancy. Hope this helps.
