Hi All, I have a computer question to ask about the family tree program I am running. I have Family Tree Maker version 7.5 for windows 95, 98. I can bring up a name and do a Genealogy report of that name and save it as a RTF file and sent that RTF file to anyone that have a computer/with e-mail. This much I know. This file opens for me in my WORD program. My question is, is there a way to convert the RTF file back to the family tree maker program? I have just been sent a ton of information on my mother's side of the family the Rigney's and the Maxey's but all of the information is in RTF format and the only way I know to enter it into my family tree program is to set here and manually type it all in and that is what I did not want to do. There is something like 30 pages of information about this line with wills and notes and stuff like that. If there is a way to transfer this information into my family tree program please let me know. Thanks, Sue B. Altice

Sue, I am not aware of anyway FTW can import a .rtf file. Looks like your fingers may be to the walking thru your report. why not take them down to say like a kinko copies and scan them.
