    3. Anne: The only record that I know that shows any of Ishom's siblings is in Franklin County Virginia 1786-1986 A Bicentennial History, page 222: "The wording of indictments in assault cases often was more dramatic than the actual event. In November 1786, for example, Samuel Dillon charged that Barnett, Elijah, Elisha, Hezekia, Isham (Jr.) Isham (Sr.), John, and William Blankenship, with 'Swords, Clubs, Fists upon the said plaintiff . . ." I believe that these are Isham and at least some of his sons. There probably is a court document on file in Henrico County (Richmond) that gives the details of the case. Betty Carson (or Julia Gaugler) states in the materials, Blankenship Records, pages 290-292, "There is no clear record to my knowledge of Isham's children, but probability of many can be found in the land records of Henry and Franklin Counties and are agreed upon by many researching this line they are: Hesekiah, Isham (Jr.), Mary Elizabeth, Elisha, William, Elijah, Zachariah, Presley, Barnett, Rhoda and possibly Jesse and Armstead." I don't know how David fits in. Maybe someone else can add some insight. ---------- >From: Winack27@aol.com >To: BLANKENSHIP-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [BLANKENSHIP] Blankenship, Ralph, John, Isham, Sr.,David >Date: Mon, Jan 8, 2001, 10:57 PM > > Bill, > Thank you very, very much for the will.
