For all Blankenship researchers, PLEASE, PLEASE set me straight on the facts. I want to know 100% for sure if any of the following items has been proven by anyone of the researchers. Last I read on this post they has not been. 1. Do we know who Ralph Blankship's father was and if so, has that information been proven? This is the guy I am calling, Ralph The Immigrant Blankinship, this is the guy that married Martha Lnu and had the following chidren, Richard, William, John, James, Ralph and Ann. He an Martha were found on the Chesterfield Co., Virginia records. 2. Do we know the last name of Elizabeth that married Richard Blankinship, son of Ralph and Martha??? 3. Do we know the last names of the wives, Ann and Cicily, of Peter Blankenship? He was son of Richard Blankinship. Sue B Altice

Hi Sue... You are right on all points. We do not know the name of Ralph's father. I have never seen Richard listed with a wife in any court records but Gayle has written that his wife Elizabeth was a witness in a Goochland court record in 1835. I don't have that record but I wish I did! And, yes, we do not know the last names of Peter's wives. Thank goodness you're clarifying the faulty records which are floating around the internet.
