Sandra, Maybe it would be easier then if we just keep you subbed with the home address at AOL since we reply TO THE LIST you would simply just get the messages at one place? Let me know please which address you would like to be subbed to. "this is from Mike" just isn't much help - are you talking about Mike B in VA and could you forward the material that came up with this hypothesis when you are at home? THanks, Kay

    3. Thanks I was down to Nicholas Co. Ky where my mother was born at the Blue Licks and one of her uncles owned and lived in cabin that is still there over grown with weeds and STICK TIGHTS (don't know if you know what they are but worse type of BRIER you can get on your clothing). My cousin and I were mess getting to an old fire place. Anyway the picture reminded me of that building. 3. O.k. Don, Thanks for that info. That is my direct line you are speaking of and I had never heard anyone say where the Green came from. I just knew it was used often. Now I know. I had assumed it was just the old English custom of naming after the father, the mother, the father's brothers and etc. Remember what they say about assuming. Ha. Good to hear from you.
