Bob, I have 4 David Blankenships with no dates of birth - do you maybe have a spouse's name?
Passing this on from another list: Just passing on a great website I discovered - you can use it to browse on-line or buy historic maps of London, UK, which can help make sense of census addresses etc. Includes some historic Ordinance Survey maps (very detailed, often note farm names etc). Enter 'maps' + the area you are searching for. eg map islington gave me 16 hits. Hope it's useful. http://collage.nhil.com/categories/history.html
His spouse that I'm aware of was Nancy Ann Coxwell. They could have been married and/or lived for a time in Warren County, GA. (seems like Wilkinson County and Bibb County pop up too) I've got my fingers crossed that we have a "hit" here. Thanks . . . . . Bob Bryant (Please acknowledge receipt of this message)

Hey researchers, I ran across this and while John in not in my direct line of Blankenship's, I thought some of you could use this information. This is the will of John Cape that mentions John Blankenship, as grandson, in his will. It is not that often in research work that I find a mother's name, Jane Cape Blankenship, and a grandfather's name, John Cape, all in one place. I hope this helps some of you with you direct line of Blankenship's. Maybe Kay can add this one to her file of Wills and Deeds for the Blankenship family.
