Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery, Moderly, MO. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Hixson-Klein Chapel, Edgerton. Mr. BLankenship was born near Edherton and lived in Illinois and Huntsville and mOberly in Missouri before he return to Edgerton in 1951. He formerly was an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Camden Point Baptis Church. He received a bachelor's degree in elctrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Survivors include a son, John Blankenship, Edgerton, two daughters, Eunice Badley and Marilyn Wingate of Kansas City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The file is Stewart.ged. I downloaded it in '95 from Compuserve. I would be willing to send it if I could figure out how to zip it and send it as an attachment.     3. Dot, Yes, this is my line. The Chambers and Blankenships liked each other a lot! My Mary/Polly Blankenship married James Chambers, and I believe Isham and William must have been her brothers, who married the Chambers sisters. They could have been her cousins, of course. He developed T.B. while working in a mine and had to leave to get to a better climate.
