    2. Hi, Yes, there is someone out here. I rarely read this E-mail (an old account), but now use _Protzy41@optonline.net_ (mailto:Protzy41@optonline.net) My BLANK line comes from the Netherlands, and settled in the New Amsterdam/now New York City area. I know of other BLANCK lines from Germany, but they are not related to my lines. Bob

    2. Hello Timothy, I am the List administrator for this list (BLANCK). There is almost no body out there. The list was mainly set up for the descendants of Jeuriaen BLANK, who emigrated from the Netherlands. The is another list, possibly BLANK, which is heavily into German BLANK/BLANCKs. Good luck in your searches. 3. Hello, is there anyone in there? I've just joined the BLANCK family after discovering that my great great grandmother, Regina "Reine", was not a BLANCH or a BLOCK as the pre-earthquake and fire records (1906), from San Francisco seemed to show. A recent trip to Salt Lake City, and search of several films revealed information on about 43 BLANCK family members from the town of Neiderlauterbach, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France, located just north of Strasbourg. I will try to have the info on Worldconnect.com in the next few days. 2. Hi Susan, I made a quick stop at the New City Library yesterday. We have a copy of Methodist Marriages, but not births or baptisms. I also looked at the Index to Marriages and Deaths from the NY Herald. Eventually, I will get back to the NY Public Library and look up these references. Here's what I found: From NY Methodist Marriages: Wives: Ann Eliza BLANK, m. Dec 26, 1839, Francis Fowler [2/111 from the records of William Stilwell]. Caroline BLANK, m. Mar 12, 1877, Sam. E. Ayers [26/108 from St Paul’s Church, Mulberry St]. Catharine BLANK, m. Sep 28, 1831, Ezra Thorp [2/042 from the records of William Stilwell]. Elizabeth BLANK, m. Dec 11, 1840, George Evans [9/442 from records of Rev Henry Close and 41/172, Rev Henry Close]. Hannah BLANK, m. Mar 3, 1842, Solomon Pancoast [10/639 from Allen Street Church]. Harriet E. BLANK, m. May 29, 1839, Thomas I. Baker [from 31/161 Duane Street Church]. Grooms: Lewis BLANK, m. Dec 2, 1872, Alice van Bramer [40/329 from Greene Street Church, 1 Broadway (now Ashbury)]. Index to Marriages and Deaths in the NY Herald, James P. Maher. Marriages:William F. BLANCK, m. Oct 17, 1854, Elizabeth E. Quinn. Thomas J. BLANCK, Jr., m. May 6, 1856, Adaleide Anna ____. Deaths: Eliza BLANC, d. Nov 1, 1853. William H. BLANCK, d. Oct 10, 1851. Sara Jane BLANCK, d. Sep 7, 1847. Abram BLANCK, d. Sep 9, 1863. Ethan C. BLANCK, d. Jul 18, 1863. Henry C. BLANCK, d. Nov 11, 1858. Henry E. BLANCK, d. Oct 5, 1859. Isabella BLANCK, d. May 3, 1863. Jane BLANCK, d. Jan 31, 1858. Godfrey Henry BLANK, d. Dec 14, 1863. John Henry BLANK, d. Jan 13, 1864. Lambert BLANK, d. Aug 20, 1867. Mrs. Miriam BLANK, d. Oct 19, 1863. Adelaide BLANK, d. Sep 5, 1864. George W. BLANK, d. Mar 25, 1865. John F. BLANK, d. Jul 13, 1870. Sarah F. BLANK, d. Nov 10, 1865. Thomas J. BLANK, d. Oct 1, 1869. Virginius BLANK, d. Mar 10, 1869. The best bet for a church for the early BLANCKs, before they became Methodists, would be the Dutch Reformed Church. Unfortunately, the published baptisms end at 1800. Bob

    1. Re: George BLANCK 1809 GERMANY - lived 1860 NYC - Bronx??
    2. You should post your information on _BLANK-L@rootsweb.com_ (mailto:BLANK-L@rootsweb.com) . That list seems to be primarily German BLANKs, as yours would appear to be. This list was set up to separate out the Dutch BLANCK lines, related to Jeuerian BLANCK, ship Captain and later Goldsmith of New Amsterdam, who have not be covered by the BLANK List.
