I notice in the census that there was a John Blanchard listed in Concord, NH in both 1790 and 1800. The family structure is a little tricky: the 1800 tally is 21011-10110, and 1790 is 212--, which leads me to guess that John was born 1750 or earlier, had a son c1773, dau c1777, son c1784, and then three more children 1790-1800. There were presumably others filling in those gaps, but who died before 1790. His wife as of 1800 could have been the mother of all the children if she was born close to 1755. Does anybody know who these folks were? For example, I have a record of a John born 1743 Jul 24 in Billerica, but no further info.
